Information Security Engineer

• You can contribute your experience in the field of information security at Fressnapf and benefit from an open and committed team.
• You are responsible for identifying and implementing information security optimizations across the organization, as well as for the hand over to the operations teams. This covers all areas of information security with a strong emphasis on technology.
• You serve as a central point of contact for other teams regarding information security, both on an organizational and technical level.
• You have no problem to familiarize yourself with new topics and technologies as the needs change with various products and projects.

You'll fit in with us if you're a friendly, communicative personality and have broad security know-how based on your previous activities. An analytical and precise way of working and understanding complex relationships will further convince us.

Your role will require you to work purposefully, take the initiative, and a willingness to continue your education.

We expect the following from you:

• You have completed a university education with a focus on computer science/information security or a comparable education;
• you have already gained several years of practical experience in information security;
• you have implemented security optimization projects in the past;
• you understand modern and agile software development, IT Administration and IT Architecture;
• you are able to identify key performance indicators to measure security impact;
• you enjoy sharing knowledge and information with others;
• you have very good written and spoken English language skills.
